Here we cook, we don’t collect data. Here’s, in plain words, what the site records, why, and how you stay in control.
Who is responsible

What is collected, and why
- If you leave a comment : your name, your email address (never displayed), your IP address and the date. This is used to publish and moderate comments. They also go through Akismet, an anti-spam filter.
- If you subscribe to the newsletter : your email address, only to send you new recipes. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- When you visit the site : overall visit statistics (page views, country, device), to see which recipes people like. They are measured by WordPress.com (Jetpack Stats). No Google Analytics, no advertising pixel.
No data is sold or used for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only a few technical cookies may be set: for example, to remember your name if you tick the box when leaving a comment. The share buttons (Pinterest, Facebook, WhatsApp) are plain links: nothing is loaded from those networks unless you click them. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Where the data is
The site is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.). Some data may therefore be processed in the United States, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
How long
- Comments: as long as they remain published.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
